　　80年代，健民制药厂厂长魏健民，在“利民霉素”投产与“三废”的处理之间顾此失彼，因而妨碍了郊区的农业生产，干扰了植物研究所的科研工作，影响了附近居民的身体健康。某报社记者高立言赞扬“利民霉素”的报道刚发表，就收到许多群众来信。高立言再次深入调查，又发表了批评药厂的文章。于是，围绕着药厂产生了一系列矛盾冲突。最后，魏厂长认识到“三废”的危害，决心治理，在搞生产的同时，积极注意做好环境保护工作。

　　日本摄影记者芥川（林子祥）三年后重返刚刚解放的越南采访，遍地的生机令他心生欢喜，但当他无意间走进城市的另一隅结识当地女孩琴娘（马斯晨）后，方知之前所见不过是越共政府特意为他这样的外国记者安排的粉饰太平的假像。
　　在琴娘并非刻意的“导游”下，越南平民百姓正处于水深火热中的悲惨生活逐渐被芥川尽收眼底。琴娘一家人、战后唯一留下来的某酒吧的老板娘（缪骞人）及她的正想方设法逃离越南的情人祖明（刘德华）等人的被越共任意践踏的自尊强烈地触动着芥川敏感善良的心，尽管他并无彻底改变他们命运的能力，却仍是尽力给予帮助。

　　德国慕尼黑，丈夫克里斯特告别了妻子亚丽安娜（Margit Carstensen 饰）与瘸腿女儿安吉拉（Andrea Schober 饰），赴奥斯陆公干，但他在半路中转，约会了情人并将其带到自己的乡间别墅。但他意外发现亚丽安娜与情人——自己的助手早已抵达别墅偷情，四人很快在尴尬的气氛中回过神来，坐到了一张桌子上享用晚餐。负责照料别墅的卡斯特与加百列母子注视着四人，内心各有不同的触动。当天夜里，安吉拉在保姆的陪伴下亦抵达别墅，她的出现让亚丽安娜为其腿疾绷紧的神经再次拉紧，气氛一时僵硬。
　　第二天夜里，安吉拉组织别墅里的所有八人进行一场叫做“中国轮盘赌”的问答游戏，分成两组的八人互相提问作答，牵出了各自内心隐藏的秘密。

　　赞努西打开国际影坛大门的早期代表作，以繁复而疏离的形式和内省的命题著称。 藉由一心进入知名学府物理系就读的男主角，日后恋爱、辍学、逃离尘世到回归体制的过程，不断从生活、精神、 思想上发掘冲突与辩证，游走在性灵与现实、自由与责任的拉据。不仅反映了当时波兰青年知识份子的心境， 也确立赞努西日后作品的内在主题。

　　1600年、関ヶ原の戦いの火ぶたが切られた時。徳川家康は、石田三成方・島左近の刺客により暗殺された。今ここで家康が殺されたことを敵軍に知られては、形勢不利に陥る…。そう判断した家康側近は、家康の影武者・世良田二郎三郎を、急遽本物の家康に仕立てる。そして、当初の劣勢を挽回し、逆転勝利をおさめたのだった。
　　事の真相を知った家康の三男・秀忠は、二郎三郎を「家康」として利用しようとする。
　　それは「家康」をまず征夷大将軍に就かせ、その後、自分が二代将軍に就いて権力を掌握し、豊臣家を滅ぼすという筋書きだった。秀忠は、柳生宗矩に命じ、自らの兄弟を将軍後継の障害として抹殺し、さらに、大坂の秀頼を潰そうと非情、謀略の道を歩む・・・。
　　しかし、「家康」を演じる重責に戸惑うばかりだった二郎三郎は、やがて秀忠に敢然と対決を挑む。家康側室・お梶の方と協力し、敵方であった島左近を軍師に迎え、次々と難局を乗り越え、誰もが自由に安心して暮らせる世を作ろうとする。その胸の内には、自らの生への強い意志と、弱い立場の者に対する限りない愛があった。
　　太平の新時代を切り開いた男と女の物語に、“関ヶ原の戦い”、“大坂の陣”など一大スペクタクルを配し、歴史の転換点の裏にある新しい歴史ドラマを、波乱万丈の人間ドラマとして描く。

　　“Sangen Om Den Eldröda Blomman” ( “Song Of The Scarlet Flower” ) was a recent and remarkable silent surprise for this Herr Von; the oeuvre is an excellent Herr Stiller silent film that this German count watched in a newly restored and tinted copy. It combines the well-known aesthetics, technical improvements and artistic merits for which the Nordic director was known and praised since those early silent times till today.
　　The film tells of the merry and carefree love life of young Olof ( Herr Lars Hanson ) a woodsman who during his search for true love, seduces many frauleins ( just like this German aristocrat… well, not exactly because the purpose of this Herr Von’s seduction of rich fräulein heiresses are their great fortunes… ). He will suffer disappointment and deception, all those problems that turn up in any loving relationship. Finally he will find responsibility and maturity, learning during his particular quest that his actions always have consequences in different degrees to the people around him. This Herr Von can describe “Sangen Om…” as a kind of coming of age film, the special introspective growth toward maturity of a free and easy youngster.
　　As this German count said before, the film displays Stiller’s characteristic artistic virtues. ; in the first part of the film, we can see elements of comedy, not exactly like the comedy of intrigues in other Stiller films, but humor of a more cheerful sort, highlighting the self-involvement of our hero. Olof ‘s frivolous flirtations with the different girls eventually turn romantic and then turn into drama. There is conflict in the troubled relationship between Olof and his father and later with the father of his beloved. The beautiful and wild natural landscapes of Norrland and northern Sweden lend the tale a certain power and is characteristic of Herr Stiller’s other silents where Nature emerges as an important character in the story. This is strongly reflected throughout the film but especially during the frantic scene wherein Olof descends into the troubled waters of a river, a beautiful metaphor for the hardships that our hero has to endure until he finds himself.
　　“Sangen Om Den Eldröda Blomman” is an excellent, beautiful film, a solid, technically perfect and intricate production of 1919 that demonstrates once again the importance of Herr Stiller for silent film history.

　　1990年11月13日，一场灾难突然降临在新西兰边陲的海边小镇阿拉蒙那上。离群索居、沉默不语的男子大卫•盖瑞（Matthew Sunderland 饰）被镇上的人称为“独居怪人”，某天他和邻居发生口角，受到刺激的盖瑞开枪射杀了邻居。随即他穿戴一齐，手持半自动步枪，在这座他祖辈世世代代生活的小镇上，向爱好和平、手无寸铁的人们展开了血腥大屠杀。

　　Since ancient times, a tribe on the African continent has been prophesying that a white boy will arrive to be their god: the Son of the Moon. David, a 12-year-old orphan who lives in Europe, learns about the prophecy and believes that he is the chosen child and that destiny must be fulfilled at any cost. Before David can fulfill his prophecy he must escape the heavily guarded scientific organization that has adopted him. David's strange behavior and the fact that he possesses extrasensory perception, has attracted the attention of an organization researching so-called "prodigious beings" in the occult tradition. David soon discovers that their goal is to channel the moon's energy into a child yet to be born, robbing him of his rightful place as the Son of the Moon. Two women, Victoria, a member of the center, and Georgina, the future mother of the supposed moonchild, will help David fulfill his destiny. After several attempts David manages to escape the center and undergoes a series of new experiences: love, adventure, supernatural events and even death. David is relentlessly pursued, pushing him further towards his goal, towards Africa where his fate awaits him.

　　根据英国作家格林的同名小说改编。纳粹占领时期的法国人。因为纳粹为了报复游击队的袭击，抓了一批人质，其中抽到死签的将被处决。主人公抽到了死签，但表示要以自己的财产换取替代者，有一个身患绝症的小伙子同意交换，条件是主人公用自己的财产照料他的家人。后来主人公与小伙子的姐姐走到了一起。
　　该片讲的是德军入侵法国的故事. 残暴的德军肆意在巴黎的街道上逮捕行人, 把他们带去他们的集中营,进行他们的杀人游戏.
　　故事的男主角是镇上有名的律师, 有自己的律师事务所, 有宏伟的别墅, 家财万贯, 却独身一人. 一天午餐后, 他不幸被逮捕送去了可怕的集中营. 一路上, 他拿出他有钱人的质疑, 一直在反抗. 结果不说也知道, 挨了一顿打的他和其他人一样住进了三十人一间的牢房里. 他仍不相信这样的事实, 不安分的他一直和同伴们抱怨.
　　游戏终于开始了. "你们每十个人中要死一个, 这次你们自己选出三个来, 明天一早执行枪决." 他们面面相觑, 却很平静. 最后商议的结果是抓阄, 大家很默然, 麻木, 只有他一直处于极度的恐惧和不安中. 他用颤抖的双手小心翼翼的打开他用自己的手抓来的这张纸条, 只需一眼就知道了自己的命运, 他抽到了最后一个叉号.
　　他害怕了, 愤怒了.开始大声叫唤, 没有人理他, 这是他的命. 他开始喃喃自语, 开始想办法挽救他的生命. "谁跟我换, 我给他十万法郎." 没有人啃声. 他声音颤抖, 面目狰狞, 一遍一遍的说. "别傻了,谁会拿生命去换金钱." "就是, 没有生命了还要金钱干什么?" "你能不能安静点, 每个人都得死." 突然角落里的一个声音蹦出来"如果你的价码再多一些的话, 我会考虑."还伴着两声咳嗽声. 那是个面黄肌瘦, 身体羸弱的年轻人, 有气无力的躺在冰冷的地上. "我还有房产和花园, 我都给你.我把我所有的资产都给你, 总共三十万法郎." 律师迫不及待的说. 年轻人听后很满意, "我要把他们留给我的妈妈和姐姐, 我要让村子里的人都羡慕他们. 我要立个遗嘱." 就在他们忙着立遗嘱,写财产转让书,并找了两个人做为公证人签名做证时, 其他人都傻眼了..... 。
